Happy New Year!

Our last project of 2010 was LIGHT Art + Design located in Chapel Hill, NC at:

We were so excited to be a part of this project. Something new, interesting and fresh in our community. Full of wonderful pieces created by local and international artists. You must visit!

We had the task of painting both the inside and the lobby. We of course painted all of the white walls and ceilings (not too exciting for us but the perfect background for all of the amazing pieces, and an important part of what we do-basic painting).

Davide did create something unique for the lobby, a rough strie that is so organic and modern. I absolutely love it. See for yourself.....

What I loved most about this project was that it gave me a chance to collaborate once again with my favorite, talented, local artist Leigh Suggs (see more of her work at www.leighsuggs.com). I love her work so it's always such a pleasure and learning experience for me when we work together. I learn from her and hopefully she learns a little from me. It's a good partnership.
