Here we are at the start of a new year. May this year bring exciting and prosperous adventures your way.

We ended last year with a great project and wanted to share some photos.

Surf Club- 703 Rigsbee Ave. Durham, NC is the latest venture for Rhys Botica. More casual than Whiskey, more of a neighborhood bar but still that upscale interior feel we've come to appreciate with Rhys. Thanks to his love of ebay and finding old treasures to restore, and his partnership with his wife Heather Garrett, interior designer, every space is unique and interesting.

CAN was responsible for the interior painting and staining. The bar was an ebay find from Chicago which we stained and epoxy coated for a fabulous highgloss classic finish. The black scratched plaster walls bring out the upscale feel while the white subway tiles bring out the niehgborhood feel of the space making it visually exciting and inviting.

We wish Rhys all the best with this new business, sure to be success.
